Offshore folks have been after the mahi mahi consistently the past few weeks, however, this week the yellow fin tuna, black fin tuna and big eye tuna showed up in larger numbers. Quite a few blue marlin, sail fish and white marlin have been released as well! Good luck to our nine boats fishing in the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation Tournament.
Nearshore and inshore boats are DRUMMIN’! Killer red drum fishing this past week kept the citation station busy. Bluefish, Spanish mackerel and ribbon fish have been showing up for supper. Speckled trout and puppy drum, too!
