Congratulations to Fin Planner on a 9th place finish in the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament! Bi-Op-Sea finished in 12th place, and Rigged Up took 14th. The billfishing has been HOT with 408 releases over 4 days across 88 boats! Those interested in filling the freezer have been far from disappointed with limits of mahi mahi, nice-sized wahoo, tilefish, and a mix of black and yellowfin tuna.
Nearshore boats have had fantastic mixed catches of ribbons, spanish and king mackerel, sea bass, cobia, albacore, amberjack, sharks, and bluefish. Had quite a few over-sized red drum citations go out this week as well!
Inshore trips are seeing limits of trout and drum, with nice catches of bluefish and released flounder!
