Nice catches of white marlin, blue marlin, and sailfish offshore yesterday! Boxes were full of mahi, wahoo, blackfin, and yellowfin tuna. Huge thanks to the Southland Concrete and F.H. Furr groups for fishing with us on Saturday! Hoping to squeeze in a few more days before the storm moves in later this week.
Nearshore boats are still seeing a solid mix of ribbonfish, spanish and king mackerel, sea bass, blue fish, red drum, and sharks! Good action on the half day trips both morning and afternoon.
The inshore fleet had some beautiful speckled trout and bluefish hitting the docks, with additional reports of puppy drum and catch and release flounder! Flounder season runs September 15-29th with a creel limit of 1 fish per person per day (15 inch minimum).
